What We Do

Upinion ensures communities impacted by crises have a voice and influence in decision-making processes through our Digital Engagement Platform (DEP), enabling community engagement and accountability (CEA) at all stages of the humanitarian programme cycle.

Our platform — a four-step process

1. Onboard

Establishes representative online communities using a three-path “community growth” methodology combining social media engagement, local partner outreach, and the “Upinionator” method.

2. Engage

Gathering insights, co-creating interventions and advocacy campaigns, and facilitating communities’ real-time participation in high-level events.

3. Analyse

Converts data into tailored reports — protection and livelihoods monitoring, scoping exercises, needs assessments, perception studies, and impact measurements.

4. Share

Provides communities with accessible information via flyers, reports, and updates about what happened with the insights they shared. Supports participatory advocacy campaigns.
